Children's Show

Marimba has received an old djembe as a gift. She tries to repair it and discovers a secret message telling her how to find the very first djembe made more than eight centuries ago. She decides to go off to Africa, where she crosses the jungle and has several unusual encounters, including one with a somewhat crazy wizard, another with a monkey percussionist, and finally one with a parrot who speaks in riddles. All of these characters will help her find the sought-after, and thunderous, djembe.

This very dynamic and interactive performance will feature songs and marionettes. It will also teach the audience how to play percussion instruments, including, of course, the djembe. Kids will enjoy taking part.

Let yourself be carried away by a journey that takes unexpected twists and turns, with plenty of music on the way.
