Salsa and Cumbia
The 10-member orchestra Sabor 19 offers a salsa and cumbia repertoire.
Since 2019, they have given more than 42 concerts in Montreal and elsewhere in Canada and have made a name for themselves on the city’s Latin scene. In 2022, they began to create their own compositions, an effort that would take them in 2023 to the semi-finals of the competition organized by Festival Nuits d'Afrique (Syli d'Or).
Their aim is twofold: get everyone up and dancing, and share with them the human warmth and joy of a street celebration.
