BARTER: FROM THE LONGHOUSE TO THE WIGWAM
At the Huron-Wendat Museum (afternoon)
In this role-playing activity, students are invited to portray members of the Huron-Wendat Nation and members of the Algonquian peoples in a commercial exchange activity.
Barter: from the Longhouse to the Wigwam allows 4th and 5th-grade students to review their knowledge and acquire new information about the lifestyle of Iroquoian and Algonquian societies in the 16th century. The activity includes a visit to the Huron-Wendat Museum and the national longhouse.

HALLOWEEN ACTIVITY
